The Beauty of a Good List

The Beauty of a Good List

.

.

Are you a fan of the list ?

.

thankful for

.

(not all lists are created equal)

and …

.

The lists floating around this time of year are endless.

My Inbox is buried in lists as I’m sure yours is and to be blunt…

it drives me a little nuts.

.

But, I’m an incessant list-maker at home, my “to-do” lists are #beautiful (haha) so it’s just weird that lists bug me.

.

.

#beauty of the list

.

..

And it got me thinking, perhaps I haven’t given the “list” it’s fair shake…

Perhaps, I have judged too harshly & too quickly.

.

I have decided to reconsider.

.

.

AND, guess what? I’ve had an epiphany!

… and YOU get to cash in on all of my gruelling work!

(yay! Are you dancing yet? get up & boogie!)

Now, let’s get a wee bit serious.

(insert angels singing because this is big)

.

.

ready?

…I’ve put together a LIST of the BEST LISTS !

(I know. WOW)

.

.

Lists can be wonderful, especially for a type A personality.

**as an aside, I learned a new term last year … my lawyer told me I was a double A personality – I didn’t even know there was such a thing! When I gasped, he said…”that’s ok, I know a triple A guy”.

can you imagine?

(that was supposed to make me feel better. *sheesh*)

.

I digress.

.

So, I’ve changed my mind, good lists are #awesome.

and

I’ve been drinking so I think everything is better than it really is. Kidding.

.

.

The “list” and I are friends again.

.

because…

Lists are time-savers.

Lists save us the frustration of digging.

Lists are neatly packaged & easy to digest.

.

And they save time.

(Wait, did I say that already? Double A, what? Ha. Not me. Maybe. Definitely)

.

.

So, here is the mother of all lists!

What kind of list do you want to see?

I know, WOW again.

.

 I have a list for Y.O.U – a gift, actually.

It’s not a long list, but it’s a good one.

A list of 6 life changing questions.

(scroll down to download in less than 5 seconds)

.

It is just long enough to allow you to create some space - to reflect, celebrate, have a good laugh at yourself, & envision your future so you can move forward in 2014 in a way that only you know you can.

.

.

The magic happens when you define a goal & the steps it will take to get there…then break down the steps to bite size chunks and start crawling, or walking, or sprintingjust as long as you start.

AND the beauty of breaking it down? It works for every.thing & any.thing

.

my friend Tim, often preaches: start by starting.

It is simple, poignant advice & yet we still struggle with it.

He knows it is the human condition so he’s built a business around it.

(ps, his fees are outrageous … so just start)

  3. I am a list-lover. I add things to my lists just for the satisfaction of crossing them off. And I always get sucked into time-killing lists on Facebook and what have you. #SITSblogging
